Journey To Tawi.
Get Your Bearings.
Set on Kenya’s south-eastern border with Tanzania, Amboseli is a place of ever changing landscapes, from acacia woodland, giant palm forest, dusty dry lake beds, volcanic plains, to lush, cool, green swamps fed by the snowmelt of Kilimanjaro.
The Lodge.
Set in the heart of its own 3,000 acre private conservancy and in one of the richest game areas in Kenya. Tawi Lodge is an eco award winning lodge, combining unpretentious comfort with subtle accents of style coupled with traditional East African hospitality.
How To Get Here.
It is incredibly easy to get to Tawi. There are daily flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Amboseli Airstrip or by charter to Tawi’s private airstrip. Driving is an option too, the drive takes approximately 5 hours from Nairobi. Or by train (SGR), to Emali Station, then a road transfer by Tawi to the lodge (2 hours).
